






According to customs statistics, China's lithium hydroxide exports in October 2025 reached 2,876 tonnes, representing a decrease of 56% compared to the previous month and a 63% decline year-on-year.
By country, exports to South Korea and Japan collectively accounted for 88% of the total export volume. Exports to South Korea stood at 1,523 tonnes, down 67% month-on-month and 74% year-on-year. Exports to Japan totaled 1,012 tonnes, reflecting a decrease of 41% from September and a 40% drop compared to the same period last year.
On the import side, China imported 1,279 tonnes of lithium hydroxide in October, primarily sourced from Indonesia, which contributed 1,189 tonnes. Overall imports registered a slight decrease compared to the previous month.
